In each Unit, there is a series of Methodology items which appear as the “How Science Works” questions in exams. These appear as M1, M2, M3 and so on in the Methodology section at the bottom of the page…
Please note that this site should not be used as your sole revision guide, because certain bits of the course that have been left out here may be studied as part of your course, and similarly, there may be bits here which you do not need to learn

Heyya Daniel,
Just a quick question really, which examing board did you use for your A.S Psychology? oh yeh..and ermmm..depending on which examing board and sixth form/college you study at does it vary on what you learn??? i’m still doing my GCSE’s but the sixth form that i want to attend to next year, well i checked their website and i read a bit about what we will be learning in AS Psychology and it’s quite different from your notes above ^ ^
Thanks for all the notes they are absolutely fab !!!!!!!
Hi Anisah! Thanks for the comment. The exam board I studied, and therefore which these notes concern, is Edexcel. It may well be the case that the place you want to study also offers Edexcel Psychology, but my notes may still differ in content slightly, because the great thing about the course is that it is so flexible. Each unit you get to choose which psychological studies, key issues, debates and practicals you get to study, and so I have only done notes for those which I chose to study. So if you choose any similar topics, you can of course use my notes, otherwise, unfortunately since I cannot possible cover the notes for all the content that I didn’t even study, the notes won’t be on the site
However, I hope if you do choose to do Psychology these notes will still help you in some areas
Hello Daniel, thank you for that!

Psychology seems so interesting, i can’t wait to study it!
Unfortunately the examining board of the sixth form is AQA ans wey’re studying specification A.
But i’m sure that your notes will be of much help as its probably pretty similar.
Oh and i’ve just noticed that you got back to me so quick before, thanks for replying so quick, and thank you for all the hard work you have put into these notes and for sharing them….YOUR A LIFE SAVER!!!!!!!!
